What is Montreal Mystery / Montréal Mystère?
Welcome to the inaugural Montreal Mystery book festival in downtown Montreal, where the worlds of French and English literature meet. This event brings together English and French language writers for a weekend dedicated to the mystery and thriller genres.
The festival will hold all events at the Grande Bibliothèque (BAnQ) in Montreal. The full ticket gives you access to 10 panels featuring 24 authors from Quebec, the rest of Canada, the United States and abroad and to several book signing periods. You will also be able to purchase a festival tote filled with goodies, and the authors' books through Librairie Bertrand, which will be onsite. The Saturday evening special event will give you access to 2 panels: one with Guillaume Morrissette and Isabelle Lafortune (in French) and the other with Shari Lapena and Lilja Sigurdardottir (in English).
The events go from 4:00 to 9:00pm on Friday May 24, and from 10:00am to 8:30pm on Saturday, May 25. Check out the line-up and schedule for more information, then purchase your tickets today.
